Institutional Trainings

Gilligan’s Guide trainers are here to provide standardized, evidence-informed maternal positioning instruction, competency assessments, supervised practicums, continuing education, and program implementation. Ideal for hospitals, birthing centers, education programs, and private practices. Our training is available as onsite workshops, virtual blended learning with live models or small-group cohorts.

We are now certifying institutions as Gilligan’s Guide Certified! This certification will require that 80% of your obstetric staff to be trained in Gilligan’s Guide. This new offering is so exciting for us! We know that this certification will directly benefit you in your efforts to decrease cesarean sections and improve patient satisfaction.

Licensing our 34-Week Homework

Our 34-week homework is a set of recommendations and movements to encourage the baby to get into the ideal position for birth before labor. These gentle exercises and positional tips are designed to improve pelvic alignment, increase maternal comfort, and support optimal fetal positioning as your due date approaches.

Interested in using our homework in your institution? Get in touch with us to understand how you can license our homework.

Licensing our Breech Protocol

We have created a safe and effective way to allow baby to turn from breech to cephalic (head down). If after 34 weeks pregnant and baby is still breech, we recommend using our protocol to enhance the space needed for this change in fetal presentation.

If you are now 36 weeks plus and discussing an external cephalic version with your provider, our ECV protocol will enhance the relaxation and space needed for this medical procedure to have a higher chance of success. Please involve your medical provider with this information ahead of the procedure.
